I woke up yesterday morning and found out I was going to see Judas Priest, Anthrax, and Hatebreed at the Bridgeport Harbor Yard Arena for free. And it was… um… decent. Hatebreed was pretty cool, nothing special. Anthrax was good for about 30 seconds… then I wanted to cut off my ears. Judas Priest was the best out of the three. I never thought I’d see synchronized guitar playing. Watching Judas Priest was like watching a gay Hitler rock out with an big hair 80’s metal band. My friends and I were definately the youngest people in the quarter full arena. Watching the fat woman in front of us head bang made my night.
It was what I expected, so I can’t complain. And besides, it was free. I never thought I’d go see Anthrax or Judas Priest. So it was a strange but fun experience.
I would like to make a correction to a previous post I made entitled "The Wait Staff". First of all, it is the "WaitStaff" not "Wait Staff" Secondly, I did not even make that post nor am I a member of "The WaitStaff". In fact, I have no knowledge of the identities of these vigilantes. That post was clearly made by an impostor that was pretending to be me.
However, I will gladly report on their activities.
Shane, congratulations on your first post.
A Riceminers Entertainment revival is underway – spawned by the Waitstaff. Soon you will see new videos, pictures, and buddy icons at Riceminers.com, as well as some other weird stuff. Whenever an update is made, you’ll find out about it here. We will be sharing our ideas and upcoming projects on this blog as well. You can now get to this blog through the address: http://blog.riceminers.com as well as from the original address http://blog.seanhenri.com.
I’d like to welcome two new guest authors: Justin Henri and Shane Norton – both members of Riceminers Entertainment. I will also be adding a few more authors over time.
When the steak of justice is raw, when the salad of dispair is being tossed, and when the frothy beverage of evil is being drank, you will find us. For we are… The Waitstaff!
Soooo we are a little strange. But you gotta do something to keep yourself occupied on a Wednesday night. Justin, Shane and I were sitting around with nothing to do so we decided to dress like fools and go pay our friend a visit. We were having fun so we decided to make stops all over Derby and broke out the video camera. Expect no work of art this time but it should make for a good laugh once we are done editing it. The video features a nice little montage that I’ll post on here once we are done with it. Definately a great night.
Tonight I’m sitting at home bored out my mind. This has been one of the most dull Sunday’s I’ve had in a long, long time. Tomorrow shouldn’t be much more exciting either. I have a test, a day full of classes and then lots of homework to get done at night. I can’t wait for this semester to end.
With the new job I’ve been very busy lately. Working two jobs while going to school full time catches up to you after a while.
Check back soon to see that video…
